This is taken directly off of Knicksterritory.com messageboard from someone who has a decent reputation for reporting valid rumors.

The Knicks and Nuggets have talked about a trade for Raef LaFrenz. Word is that NY is willing to send the bargain, Othella Harrington to Denver along with Charlie Ward in exchange for LaFrentz and Avery Johnson. Denver gives up one good player and one eehh? player for two decent players. Harrington would be a great backup Center/Forward for Denver. He can bang and score. Ward is an improvement over Johnson and can backup both guard spots. Issel wants coachable players, and Ward and Harrington have reputations as being very coachable. NY would get size and production at Center, and depth for Camby or even a starting Center allowing them to shift Camby to the PF spot and bring Kurt off the bench. Stay tuned.

I'm sure we can all agree that this is definetly the deal we need right now.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. I like Raef. Raef is Fear spelled backwards.

Well I'd love to get Raef, hate Avery though or do y'all not remember the way he played against us in the finals?

This trade would work for me though but Avery can't be traded untill the 15th of December.

SINCE WHEN HAS HARRINGTON BEEN IN THE SAME CLASS AS RAEF. GET REAL THE KNICK DONT HAVE GOODS TO PULL THIS TRADE OFF. IT WOULD TAKE TAKE AT LEAST CAMBY+WARD TO GET THOSE PLAYERS SO PLEASE DONT PST THIS GARBAGE.

Ask any Denver fan if they would do Raef for Camby straight up and they would say yes in a second. Othella might not stack up to Raef, but surely Raef does not stack up to Camby at all.

iam not saying i would do it for camby but im saying no combonation of harrington and ward is going to give u that back in return

Thomas for Lafrentz was the deal last year. Denver wants to do it. Ernie would have done it.
