If it happened you'd have to start ordering the cement and whatever other materials to start building the statue of Isiah outside the garden. Of course this won't happen but can you imagine if it did, they might as well hand us 3 titles because it would be an instant dynasty. Nonetheless if what I'm hearing is true about Rasheed wanting to come to NY no matter what for the mle, if Isiah could convince Kobe and make the deal with him instead and trade for Wallace instead of using the mle on him that would be amazing.

Haha nice dream...too bad Kobe is gonna need that payday and Sheed isnt settling for the MLE - he is just using NY. The guy cares about money - someone on ESPN wrote an article on Sheed this season and basically spelled it out. I like the guy, I want him in NY but I just dont think he is gonna come cheap.

I doubt Kobe would wanna join the knicks...for the MLE no less. It could happen, but I doubt it

It sounds more logical the other way around, as per the Sheed rumor. Supposedly Sheed would talke the MLE and we do a sign-&-trade for Kobe. Kobe won't be considering anyone's MLE anytime soon. Too many teams are preparing to make a real run at him and pay him $$$$$ more than the MLE.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Yeah. Players only take pay cuts when the thirst for a legitimate championship run. Kobe's got three rings already... why would he take the MLE to come to NY?

Kobes got 3 rings, fully aware it's SHAQ's team and is already looking for a new team where he will know, he'll be the #1 option.


Wherever he settles to, all he'll care about is scoring 40-45 per game. There's nothing else for him to do in terms of winning Championships. HE's looking for a big pay long term.

Rumors has him going to stay in L.A. but play for the Clippers or join a man he truly respects in Jerry West with the Grizzlies. We shall see...
