Playing in New York is tough. When they are playing well, it is magnified and feels great to be in New York.
However, when we are playing bad, the media does the same, looking for questions and answers, getting under their skin.
It's hard for the players to not let the media get to their heads.
This is the point I have been trying to say about 2012. We need to add at least a center of Dalembert's skill to help us play more consistent.
As much as he would improve our team's defense, create fast break opportunities, and help us get stops when we need them most, I don't think he will be enough to make us true championship contenders. He just isn't enough to guard the
Dwight Howard
Tim Duncan
Andrew Bynum
these are players he wont be able to guard 1v1.
Roy Hibbert
McGee
are players I am not sure if he can guard either
I don't think he can help our teams defense vs teams like...
Boston, Amare can't guard KG.
Bulls, he cant help on Rose and keep Noah from the box
Thunder, he cant help on Westbrook and Durant and keep Perkins
Dallas Mavericks, 2 bodies of Chandler and Haywood.
A believe a player like Dalembert would help us greatly in beating teams this year that we wouldnt have lost to like
Cavaliers
Pacers
Detriot
and a couple of games where we just lost it in the 4th quarter though...
