Billups has gas in the tank... I have no doubt. The problem is he's a 1 year rental at best. Does anyone think for one second the plan is anything aside from aquire as many assets as possible this offseason so we can put out a big package for a 3rd big player? Like OK4 and Ariza for some young guys and Billup's expiring deals?

Billups played the offguard at the Worlds. There were some strucutral flaws to the roster, but he tended to handle the ball when the pressur ewas on, as well as look for his shot. He was a key cog

fishmike ....seriously man? You know the plan....as to whether or not it's the best thing for the Knicks now that is a different question. LaLa laid it all out last summer ...you know who wears the pants. It sure as hell doesn't include a center.
