They just had a short interview with Penny on MSG's "Sportsdesk." He said (paraphrasing): "The league is so young that no one wants to accept the role he has(off the bench), but in time they'll change." That's maturity.

The Knicks are lucky to have him for the next two years. IMO, he will be traded in the last year of his contract because his expiring contract will be valuable to teams trying to get under the cap.
