The pacers are not that good.

When Tyler Hansbrough (250 pounds) goes for a career high and Roy Hibbert (278 pounds) resembles Wes Unseld, something is wrong. Not only are our beloved Knicks too short, they are too light in the shorts to contend with big front courts.

Small forward Jared Jeffries is of no use against teams like Cleveland and Indiana, who bring shift lines of big guys. 6'10 Josh McRoberts would easily atart for the NYK and be the largest player in the frontcourt. In Indiana he is a pine brother.

(the Knicks desperately miss the defensive effort and rebounding of Wilson Chandler)

The good news is the vacancy at center is apparent to Stevie Wonder.

The bad news is there are no quality big men walking the streets, available as free agents, barterable with our limited assets or trying to quit their current team for New York City in the immediate future.

Expect a miracle.

Fire the coach after each loss.

Bring in a defensive coach.

Then fire him when the offense sputters.

Then hire an offensive minded coach but give him time cuz the roster is not right.

Or..........

Accept the roster is not right at the moment and perhaps even after the "Melo-izaton" of the knicks they are not that good yet and need more fan suggestions cuz MDA and Donnie don't know enough.

Lower the ticket prices back to where they were last week

Let Herb Williams suit up

Play Derrick Brown

Bring back Mozgov

If you suit up Herb, roll back the prices to when he last played.

"Fire D'Antoni" is WAY too predictable.

I would suggest something that sends a message and is at the same time more entertaining

Chants of "Moz-GOV..." would be perfect.

Dolan would get the message.

Only messages Dolan gets is:

"Hey Jimmy? It's Isiah. I miss you. Call me?"

"So how does D'Antoni solve this rollercoaster puzzle?

In short, he can't. James Dolan (and Isiah Thomas) cut the roster he put together with Donnie Walsh off at the knees in order to screw on the robotic Melo cyborg suit he's got now. Chemistry doesn't just come together, it takes time. And consistency is an even further extension of that. D'Antoni's not going to all of a sudden be able to fix the problems the Knicks are having because the problems aren't obvious. They're complicated and intertwined in effort, hot and cold shooting nights, opponent matchups, and the ever elusive idea of chemistry and how players play and live together. That takes time, and work, in a situation where the Knicks have no time to work on such issues. Either these things will fix themselves naturally over the final month of the season, or you're just going to have to flip a coin as to which side of the Knicks we see in the first round."

we can't fire the owner (would love if someone could conjure up an idea of how). So what do you have left? The coach! If a team loses or falls well below expectations (who's expectation? who cares!) then the coach goes. If that was not the case, then the clippers would have had the same coach for the last 25 years!

Thats sports!

briggs - Carmelo is not the problem.

The problem is continuity. Dolan/Isiah/Walsh/Cablevison gutted the soul of the team for the next shiny object. You cannot drop four rotation players from ANY roster and expect consistent results. It is simply not happening.

The funny thing about Denver is they now have TWO complete teams. They are two deep in quality at every position.

Our beloved Knicks can barely field four quality players and have no center. Shawne Williams swings from sixth man to starting utility man. Everyone else is on roller skates. You may play, you may not.

Chaos.

Right...

I just want someone to ocach who applies the 80/20 rule. Get 80 percent profficient at everything. Then refine the other 20 percent. Being good at 80 percent of the game would be a vast upgrade to where we are today. LIke 90 percent profficient at offense and 10 percent profficient at defense.

Any NBA team must go through the league as a cohesive unit at least once. In order to bond you need one killer west coast trip or at least one good practice fight. Shawne Williams vs Bill Walker was a start) You also need to make the subtle adjustments to how 29 other teams play.

The Knicks are trying to do the ridiculous. Compete and win without a single center on the roster.

Stoudemire is a forward whose game is based on imposing his will... and aching knees. He should NEVER play center and he knows it.

Turiaf is an injury prone forward. He would make an ideal backup to Stat. Put him down for 15 minutes.

Jared Jeffries? C'mon Son! Making a layup should never be cause for celebration. If it does not show up in the stat line, I can't use it.

If Dolan forced Donnie to cave in to Denver's last demands he cannot be forgiven.

I miss Mozgov
