If I'm not mistaken, all 3 of these guys are available in the D-League. Why aren't one of these guys getting a flyer on this Knick team? We are completely devoid of big men. There's only so much I can take of Shawne Williams trying to guard 7 footers.

If anyone has a little breakdown of these 3 guys, I'd be very grateful. They seem like they'd be very useful defensive pieces for this knick team that's clearly hurting for some size.

(And if roster space is the issue...well I'm sorry, but Roger Mason is more than expendable, recent good play be damned)

Don't know much about these guys but after watching last nights game I can do nothing but agree with everything you have said.

I read an article that said that an NBA team had to pay a substantial buyout/fee to sign d-league guys and that was why guys like Barron could sit out a big part of the season and then be signed before guys that were putting up numbers in the d-l. I like all of those guys and wish the Knicks would have given one of them a shot. I also don't think you can sign a player after March 1 and have them be on your playoff roster.

Jermareo Davidson is shaky and has already had three NBA auditions, Courtney Sims is rail thin and Sean Williams is no Shawne.

Kurt Thomas has 12 rebound for the Bulls tonight.

He would be perfectly rugged and is a proven NBA commodity.

pretty sure the deal is that as long as the players aren't on another NBA team by March 1st, they can sign for the playoffs roster until the last day of the season.

I hope you are right. I would love to see the Knicks steal a guy like Williams who has done a great job this year. Williams and Amare would be an incredibly athletic duo up front.
