Let's say that Miami blended a bad brew. The 3 cry-migos don't work out, and Riley decides to mix things up.
Its scary how nicely they can re-tool on the fly and have better compatible parts.

Not saying the salaries match up in these examples, but just for illustration purposes, I think both sides consider these deals, maybe with other parts added in for a little salary and asset balance. I think Bosh's value is at a low, and its probably looking like you trade either Wade or Lebron for better balance.

Lebron -> Orlando for Howard and Nelson

Nelson
Wade
James Jones
Bosh
Howard

Wade -> NOLA for CP3, West

CP3
Lebron
James Jones
Bosh
West

Lebron -> Clippers for Griffin, DJordan, Mo Williams

Williams
Wade
Bosh
Griffin
DJordan

Wade -> Washington for Wall, McGee, RLewis

Wall
Lebron
RLewis
Bosh
McGee

Knicks fan Nightmare scenario:
Wade,Jones -> Denver for Felton, Gallo, Nene

Felton
Lebron
Gallo
Bosh
Nene

Or of course, since Bosh is at a low, and JJ apparently is the second coming of JC himself, they could probably get JJ for Bosh straight up

I don't think Padre Riles is going to blow them up anytime soon, but you are right. They have some good assets to get better cohesive parts.

If the Heat get knocked out in the first round, I know I'd look into one of those possibilities.
Funny thing is that those guys took pay cuts to play together. I wonder what kind of trade protection they have on their contracts.

Heat are crying because they dont have great role players... like Jarred Jeffries!!!! muuuhahahha

This year was a push for the Heat and I think most in the know knew this. They can still tear through the playoffs. They have two of the top players in the league and they defend well. Their lack of good size makes them beatable for sure, but they can fix that in the offseason.

If Lebron and Wade went to Riley and said Bosh isnt the piece they need CBaby will get moved. He's a bitch and is a total vagina but he's got value as a 2nd option.

Funny how the story changes. Before the season, it was claimed they had THREE of the top players in the league, and I remember some "people in the know" (e.g., JVG) handing them the trophy this year, even claiming they'd break the regular season wins record. Now its a push...

I disagree... I said they would never beat a big team in the playoffs. I posted the Knicks wont make the playoff if we dont start rebounding. Thats a little dramatic but you get the idea. The Heat had nothing up front and their big gun there is a totally soft finese player that DJ thinks of when humping his pillow.

Even with the KNicks problems with size AT LEAST our big guy is a true beast.

If the Heat can get some size up front they will be great. Mike Miller has also hurt them. HE's a good player and was supposed to be a big piece and hasnt been healthy.

All that being said the Heat will get this figured out. They are too good not to. The East is simply stacked, and some team with some serious firepower is getting bounced in round one. It better not be us!

I thought public opinion was the Celtics would win the east regardless of the Heat. And they would be more serious contenders next year. We all knew that LBJ and Wade were ball dominant and Bosh plays PF like a SF

The total ABUSE of that fool, Bosh, (and poor DJ (where is that guy?)) continues! I love it.

So I guess you're confusing yourself with "people in the know" now.

Jeff Van Gundy is never one to hold back his thoughts as an ABC/ESPN analyst. To hear Van Gundy make a bold prediction in regards to the new Miami Heat is nothing really knew. I mean this is a guy who held onto Alonzo Mourning’s leg and was dragged around as if he were a young child’s blankie. So, we know that he will go all out and hold nothing back.

But to say that the new Miami Heat team can actually beat the Chicago Bulls’ record-setting, 72-win season of 1995-96 seems a little bit on the loony side.

Well, that is exactly what Van Gundy predicted while a guest on “The Waddle and Silvy Show” on ESPN 1000 this past Monday.

Van Gundy went even further to say that the Heat are also good enough to go after the Los Angeles Lakers’ 33-game win streak set in the 1971-72 season and that Miami will not lose two games in a row all season.

Now, Van Gundy was quick to cover himself a little by saying that all this could happen barring injury or any other unforeseen events that could transpire through an 82-game season.

As far as I know, no "unforeseen events" have transpired, aside from Bosh's crying.

Heat problem is Lebron and Wade dont have jumpers so Bosh is a designated jump shooter.

Why would GS do that deal?
