1, Crying from frustration: They created a starphuched pressure cooker and high expectations.

2. The superfriends pep rally celebrated bravado and a pseudo championship. Bad idea.

3. Should have lowered expectations from the start and explain depth is still important.

4. deal with the devil? Miami is hot. So is Hell. Riley is slick. So is the devil.

5. Lebron is being sued for a club appearance in Atlanta over a dispute. Why is he doing this kind of crap? Getting paid for appearances in clubs is not taking the job seriously.

6. Verbal promises. He stated "there will not be anymore late game failures on his part". Failure is part of sports. You don't do the clutch thing every nite. Don't trust a weak bench or being too tired from too many minutes of living the big late nite appearance thing. Biggest thing is the words coming out of Lebrons mouth don't matter. Declarations or promises don't matter. Makes you feel good at that moment but it don't win games. Lebron is not the sociopath winner Jordan was. Thats ok BTW, just STFU!

7. Cautionary tale to teams trying to unite superfriends. Short term it can be problematic. I think Miami will get a chip or two in time when the roster fills out. Trust Donnie. Not Riley. Just so TMS don't have to quit his job to argue, it should be known I thinks Melo and Amare are more compatible then Lebron and his sci-fi D3.

Nalod home for two days with the flu which sucks.

Who is crazier: Khadafi or Charlie Sheen? One Phucks porn stars (seems to pay them) and another Phuchs his country.

If Fox news is "freedom of speech" then maybe we don't really have it? Is Hilary really correct?

Khadafi just plays the Western liberals all the time. I don't even think he is that crazy - he is just maintaining a dual image, one for domestic consumption and one for the idiots in the West. Other than that, its just an old fashioned clan fueled civil war over there, the Khadafra tribe vs. everybody else.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Sounds like a new Law and Order spinoff.

Law and Order: The Miami Losing Streak Edition

why not they have a spinoff for everything else - like Bart Simpson so eloquently state "I see 30 years into the future! I am watching Law and Order: The Elevator Unit"

so here is what phil is thinking ....

The team really needs to defer to Wade more in crunch time. I just knew Lebrin was going to miss that last 3 he took. Here's hoping the Lakers stretch it to 6.

Anyone else find this quote strange?

"How do we explain it? We can't," James said. "This isn't rock bottom for us. Crazy thing is, we could lose every game and still make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference."

What kind of competitor in the middle of a losing streak talks about the possibility of losing the rest of the games in a season and still making the playoffs? I thought Lebron was a different type of player than he is turning out to be in Miami.

Miami players are such drama queens. Every team goes through a losing streak in the season. Stop crying and just play through it.

Nope its not a team. And they F d up taking Bosh over Amare by miles. Its really like they are playing 3-5 or something. No one is touching the lakers they way they are playing--maybe the Cs have a chance thats it no other team has 1/100 chance to beat them 4 times. They have the best superstar probably the best C playing right now one of the best PF the bst 6th man pretty deep and battle tested through and through.

Funny thing is, I think you are right. MDA would have that team averaging 120 points a game.

His way of saying that the Heat actually have a decent record...

...but a strange way of saying it.

I suppose he might also be saying that by the time playoffs come around, they will be ready, and that all they need to do is get into the door of a weak EC, but again, a rather strange way of saying it, if that is what he actually meant.

Best for them to just shut off the tears and talk the usual cliches about playing harder, smarter, learning to play together, and the evolution of a team bringing so many players together for the first time.

No man is happy without a delusion of some kind. Delusions are as necessary to our happiness as realities- C.N. Bovee

Its like they are waiting for something to happen. Im not certain they have the intensity to make it happen.

Win or lose they are "rock stars" making tens of millions and loved by "all".

When Boston starphuched those guys had not had much team success and knew sacrifice had to be done to accomplish. AT the back third of their career KG, Pierce and Ray are just grittier guys and they had a better supporting cast. While "D3" won with shaq he is a fragile player of enormous talent but a bit disconnected like Lebron. Just seems these guys are going thru the motions and not able to put the emotional capital into their games without some kind of theme or public declaration. Bosh seemed more comfortable in Toronto but is the one really struggling as the third spoke in the wheel.

For the knicks we can make some noise next year if we get some dudes that can clean the glass. TD on the second unit can be just fine.

Is it enough to win a championship? Surety is no fun. Gotta take the ride and see what happens!

They are slumping now for sure, but any team with Wade and Lebron will be dangerous as hell in the playoffs. It's great fun seeing them eat dirt now, but I wouldn't say they don't have what it takes in the post season yet.

i think Lebron is right when he said yesterday "come playoff time it starts at 0-0."

Shaq would take the regular season off, only to win championships.

Lebron aint' Shaq son.
