We got a great win last night, so let's get this winning streak going!

We need the stars, the other starters AND the bench to positively contribute.

Any word of Chauncey's (and the other injured players') status for tonight yet?

GO KNICKS!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Hey Martin/Andrew,

I forgot to tag this as a [GameThread], and can't edit the thread headline. If you can add it, that'll be cool. Thanks.

Pair of Predictions: Knicks drop the hammer, what?!!? Score 108 and win by 11. Carmelo goes OFF THE DOOR HINGES for 41 points, mark my words.

Two items:

1) A win here gets us win #33 aka "The Zeke Peak".

2) Speaking of Zeke, let's look at a moment Zeke had with the Jazz back in the day. See that scar above his right eye?

-- the preceding post was brought to you by the letter K and the number 22.

That's the proper payback for Isiah From Knick fans. Too bad it had to be done 20 years prior to his damage in NY.

I love it how only Walker and Chuck Daly were the ones upset that Popcorn man was hurt.

Yeah the team reaction is weird. You would think a brawl would break out right away, but the Pistons ont he floor are just standing around. Rodman was always a ***** anyways when push came to shove.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Looking at it again, I think Mark Eaton and the rest of the Jazz forming a fence in front of the Mailman was a big deterent.

Their injury situation looks worse than ours (the following from covers.com -- I don't bet basketball, but linked through due to headline):

The Utah Jazz will be extremely shorthanded for Monday's game vs. the New York Knicks.

Frontcourt players Mehmet Okur, Francisco Elson and Kyrylo Fesenko are out with injuries and forwards Paul Millsap and Andrei Kirilenko are game-time decisions. Millsap has a knee injury and Kirilenko has been bothered by back spasms.

Forward-center Al Jefferson and rookie forward Derrick Favors are the only healthy big men for the Jazz, who have lost eight of 10 and are beginning a four-game road trip.

In addition, backup guard Ronnie Price is out with a toe injury, although he plays behind starter Devin Harris and Earl Watson.

The Jazz opened at most sportsbooks set as 5.5-point underdogs, but can now be found as high as +7. Tonight's total is holding around 211 points after opening at 212.

While they're talent isn't close to ours, they're strong in two areas where we're weak -- size/rebounding. Still, we should be able to take care of this one.

Favors is likely looking forward to showing Stat what he's learned. Earl Watson is the water bug AC used to be. Should be some interesting matchups (counting above) 5 PF/C's maybe out? Anybody ever question the whole back to back idea? Wonder if there is any co-relation to injury.

I cannot imagine this happening today in the NBA but know it does. I'm sure there had to be a heavy fine and suspension that has to be considered assault and battery there. That elbow looks deliberate.

There was one hit in the first Celtic game TD was driving the lane and Shaq got him in the shoulder with a 'bow didn't even call it a flagrant Penetrating the paint in the NBA is a tough way to make a livin'

Anyone know if Chauncey is playing tonight? I haven't heard anything. I'm kind of guessing no.

I could see a loss here but I have some hope because someone other than blobman is making the game thread.
