Logically we should be competitive against Memphis and Utah and have a tough time with Dallas. The way we've been playing lately I have no idea what could happen. Maybe we lose to Utah (Al Jeff + Millsap yikes) and Memphis. Fire D'antoni! We suck! And theeen..we blow out Dallas. WTF?

What a weird team. I'm having fun watching though.

Today: Utah (lost to Knicks West, Beat Kings)
Wed: Memphis (their last 3 games? Beat the Spurs by 16 and the Mavs by 1. Lost to the Hornets the night after we spanked them)
Thursday on TNT: The Mavs (beat Phi and Ind by 8. 1 pt loss to the Grizz)

Next Week:

Pacers
Pacers
Grizz again
Pistons

Week After:

Bucks
Celts
Magic
Bucks
Bobcats

Next:

Magic
Nets
CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVS
Raptors
76ers
Nets
Pacers
Bulls

11 Games we SHOULD..hopefully..win:

IMHO 13-8. Figure we lose to some teams we should beat. Surprise some contenders.

That leaves us at 45-37

Not 50 wins but a hell of a lot better than 29-53 last season

Most of us suggested around 45 wins at the start f the season. Based on your analysis (which looks pretty accurate) that's about where we're at. Good post.

do you have the Orlando make up game in that list? I thought with that, we actually have three left against them.

I still think 45 games. 13-8 is reasonable considering they are all still getting used to each other.

The only thing that really matters is getting that 6 seed and playing Miami is the playoffs. That series will probably be watched by the same number of people as the finals. I think we can take the Heat in a 7-game series. I am not as sure we can take Chicago or Boston. I predict 45 wins with us going down to the wire with Philly for the 6th seed.

yeah i mean to write best case 21-0. We're 32-29 right now after 61 games. That leaves us 21 more, which are all listed here.

Upsetting the Heat in the 1st round would def. feel a lot better than beating any of the other top seeds.

Maybe we can go on another unpredictable out of nowhere run like that Camby/Sprewell/Houston team..only we won't be facing Duncan/Robinson in the Finals. Hopefully it won't be Bynum/Pau doing the same thing.

I think we should be able to get 45 wins. I can also tell you that no one will want to play us in the first round. We pose a huge threat to both Chicago and Miami, one of which we will likely play.

45 wins sounds about right but there's a chance we could go on a streak to end the year... by all accounts it's not a bad stretch of games.

celtics and bulls towards the end might be a good thing... they may or may not be playing for anything.. it'll be good that we can go into the playoffs on a roll.

15 and 6...I have us losing the vegas losses, but in thte end know we will beat the celtics once, get swept by cavs, lose to sixes and split with magic.

That would be the best. Probably just short of a Championship, if Lebron started crying. It would rank up there with little Timmy running for the exit and the door after we sent him packing.
