When Chauncy comes back, there will be a question of who gets minutes.

Who backs him up, Toney or AC? I have really liked both their games. AC has really given us a spark, but Toney is really developing into a great bench player.

I also really hope Roger Mason will get his shot and swagger back, along with minutes. Just two years ago he's shooting 42% from threes for SA and starting 71 games. I really want to see him become a rotation guy. His short play tonight was sick.

So then we have Bill Walker getting some minutes at SF and Shaun Williams at PF.

And I am one of the few who really think Shelden Williams could be a great contributor. And now all of them are losing minutes to Jeffries.

So who gets left out? Probably Shelden Williams when Turiaf comes back, Walker or Mason, and maybe Douglas?

When Billups is back, I'd think Douglas subs in less at the PG and more at the SG, since he still makes a decent amount of bonehead plays. Roger Mason will make it interesting though if he gets hot from 3

I think with TD, we need to only ride him when he is hot. He is feast or famine. Way on or way off. I think that we now might just have the depth to do that.

Walker's defense is awful. Mason should replace him.

You knew Mason would come around and now that we have what looks like a very good team he will be needed. Generally the coach won't play guys that just play defense (except for Jeffries) so guys like Mason who are very good defender and who can stroke it are important. Also see Landry Fields here, his game is going to start to elevate shortly - we are see the first signs of it as he gets comfy with the new team.

I say we continue to go with Mason at the expense of Walker, as long as Mason continues to shoot just decently. Walker does have a nice 3 point shot but with Williams and Mason out there he is not as important now.

Also, looking forward to seeing minutes for Derrick Brown. Wonder if Ewing Jr will ever make the team...

Lol, I always get a laugh when someone mentions PeJR. The guy will not only never make this team, but he'll never make any NBA team. He just doesn't have it.

I hope Mason can drop the buckets for us, one of the bigger disappointments for me this season, kind of flew under the radar. Roger Mason, RAIN BUCKETS MAN!

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.
