Alex Kennedy: Chicago is still the frontrunner to sign Rasual Butler, but keep in mind that he has been friends with Carmelo Anthony since middle school.

Knicks have three spots open.

Jeffries 6'11"
D Brown 6'9"
R Butler 6'7"

would be good pick ups.

why would Rasual want to come to the Knicks versus a team like Bulls who need what he does?

Knicks got Fields, Walker, Williams who already fill his role.
