Strange times in Knick-land. I thought KA was going to end up being key to our second half run. Is the thought that his explosiveness is gone forever?

Cutting him and Brewer; at least we know that we've freed up space to grab more than just Jeffries.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

How does Roger Mason survive all this? Well can't cry too hard since he never played for us.

I hope this means we are getting Murphy.

Azubuike is probably not gonna be able to play at all this year. Too bad we couldn't move him to least get a 2nd round pick in exchange for his cap savings.

Of the other key options for Murphy, I think he'd be crazy not to see what an opportunity he has with the Knicks, provided of course that he is healthy. The back flare up early in the season w/ the Nets makes me think his body is all tweaked - we're not going to get anything close to the double-double capable version he was last season.

If he is healthy (and just wasn't getting the mins), he's an excellent perimeter shooter who can rebound and take up space... and finish. And he'll be offered an opportunity to be part of the rotation on the Knicks. Who knows if he'd be just another big on the deep bench of the Celtics or Heat. And besides, the Knicks won't ask him to work too hard on D.

Very confusing. I guess they felt there was no way he'd come back as an effective player.

I really thought we might get something from him in the last 20 games, but none of us has really seen him practicing, so what the heck could we know.

Too bad... he was a decent player whose skills/abilities would have helped the team if he had been at 100%.
