I say last time we beat Heat in 99 on the way to the finals.

What do you guys think?

Having 2 of top 10 players in NBA on our team is so exciting! ( Still miss Gallo ) Billups makes it all
worthwhile!!

I feel beating the Heat after losing to Cavs on Espn Sunday night ( Ratings ?) is a huge confidence booster!!

KNICKS on the way UP!!!

I was just trying to think of when we had such a crucial and emotionally satisfying win that wasn't at all flukey. It's been a loooong time.

Definitely. And it was satisfying to see such a good defensive effort against the Heat. If the Knicks continue to work that hard on d, I'm going to get very excited about this team.

I can't really remember. I was guessing with my friends at least ten years since a win felt like that.

I agree - if they can bring the effort on defense, this will be a special team to watch. i think an important factor is that amar'e, melo and billups are extremely competitive and can set the tone for the team.

We beat them on January 27th 93-88. That was a pretty good game.

Im happy we beat them, but lets be real.

There is no rivalry until the playoffs. Nothing on the line yet.

Nice exciting regular season game and perhaps a glimpse into what could be.

Miami is not a great team yet. They have great players. They are a good team.

What was big last nite was we came up big on defense and Amare had the play of the game. Not a basket but a block!

Can amare become a rebounding machine and shot blocker when we need him? Melo become a good passer?

Landry is a glue player but is lost on this team until the ball movement starts coming together.

Best win? This season had some good moments. I thought the blow out of chicago in chicago early on that propelled the team to the 13-1 run and our yoots was big. Perhaps as our yoots became more valuable on the court they became the chips that became Melo-Billups.

Its a long process to build a team and a winning culture.

its been a bad decade of regular season games... all I care about is winning some playoff games, but this was a big win because of the standings. Phili is breathing down our throat and we are in no means a lock to make the playoffs if we hit some kind of adjustment period or tailspin.

That was big because it was a pure effort win.

Who won the rebounding battle? Its that simple for the Knicks.. it really is.

This was big because of the confidence we gain from beating big three on the road!

In their house!!

Play-offs here we come!!

I'll go with LJ's 4 pt play... either way, biggest win since the 99 playoffs
