Yes, it's only been three games but Chauncey's been great (not good, GREAT) in all three.
His fingerprints were all over the Bucks win; he almost singlehandedly brought us back in the Cavs game (all 26 points in the 2nd half); and tonight he made multiple defensive plays and hit quite possibly the SHOT OF THE YEAR to help win a comeback on the road against arguably the best team in the league.
Watching him I just got flashbacks to the 94 team when we had Derek Harper. I can't be the only one that sees the parallels between the two.
Though, he does have me worried. He's 34 - he ain't gonna be around long term so I hope we can find a successor to him soon.
Either way, he's everything we've been begging for the last decade - a clear and present leader on the floor. Can't we just have him be player/coach and be done with it?
BTW, I'm now watching that shot for I think the 10th time. :)
