Yes, it's only been three games but Chauncey's been great (not good, GREAT) in all three.

His fingerprints were all over the Bucks win; he almost singlehandedly brought us back in the Cavs game (all 26 points in the 2nd half); and tonight he made multiple defensive plays and hit quite possibly the SHOT OF THE YEAR to help win a comeback on the road against arguably the best team in the league.

Watching him I just got flashbacks to the 94 team when we had Derek Harper. I can't be the only one that sees the parallels between the two.

Though, he does have me worried. He's 34 - he ain't gonna be around long term so I hope we can find a successor to him soon.

Either way, he's everything we've been begging for the last decade - a clear and present leader on the floor. Can't we just have him be player/coach and be done with it?

BTW, I'm now watching that shot for I think the 10th time. :)

I'm surprised at how good he has looked. He didn't seem as motivated earlier on the year, and I thought he was a step slower. He is playing some serious floor general out there- what's amazing is how he has played down the stretch and made plays happen when the Knicks have needed it most.

i want to say that he had a wrist injury early in the year, could have slowed him Also, recall that he played all summer in the World Games, could have just slowed himself some to recover.

Harper is a fair comparison, IMO.

Hope Billups holds up physically.

Everything about Billups screams Derek Harper. Even the way they dribble is identical.
