The fans were all rooting for NY. LBJ was actually booed big time throughout the game. This can help us in the playoffs as well.

that is awesome. I don't think some of these guys thought about how awesome it is to be good at basketball in a city that lives it. Go make your money in NY and spend it in South Beach. I do think the Knicks team will be more balanced than the Heat... Maybe the Heat are more talented. I just think kicking it to Amar'e and Melo in the high/low posts or to high percentage three point Shooters (Williams, Walker, Billups, Fields) is a nice, balanced blend.

Yeah it was great, Bron must feel really stupid going to a team that does not even have a real fan base. Feels good to beat them, espcially with Bron.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

bergenadamek: To be honest, the seats are now pretty full in Miami. Crowd quite split, though, maybe 60-40 Heat.

Yup... looks like James and Bosh chose a greats sports town to make their home.

A crowd split 60=40 in a game like this is a disgrace. Hope Riley, James, Bosh, and Wade felt humiliated.

either I was mistaking stairs for red, empty seats, or there were still plenty of empty seats. And shocking how many Knick fans were there.

Will that change by the time the play offs roll around.

Part of why the Knicks are such a crucial franchise for the league- our ability to draw ex pats on the road.

I was thinking the same exact thing that's pretty sad considering a game like this with so many stars and a division rival. Most people who live in "South Beach" aren't from Miami anywhere and we all know there's alot of transplanted NYers down there.

No layups!

The knicks have a huge fan base in Miami - they are all NY jews who are big Knick fans and spend alot of time in Miami during the winter. It will not be the same during the playoffs. However, Lebron cannot appreciate being booed at home with his ego.

This is true for Chicago also. Bull fans were cheering on the Bulls at Miami in their last game.
