The Denver Nuggets look like they are a team we tried to play like b4 we acquired Melo. A team Briggs would try to build. DEPTH, run and gun, play both ends hard, young, ball movement, and shot blockers like Birdman.
A move like Sessions and Dalembert would have made us quite similar to what Denver has now. Honestly, they got 1 2nd round from Wolves too. I honestly feel we could have got the deal without Mosgov, our 2 2nd rounders, and possibly take Twolves 2nd round pick. Denver saves close to 25 million from the trade already. With Mosgov and 5 2nd round picks, I believe we could have acquired talents through trade deadline, draft, and trading in the summer.
Well, we have to see what we can do this summer, after the new CBA to improve our team. If we decide to buy out CB should we acquire a Center or another PG?
I wonder how much Mo Williams would cost, he has an player option in which I think he will opt out. Biggest problem is I think CB would go straight to one of our contenders. Whoever he would go to, he would make them sick. Problem for us is we don't have enough depth. We have to make a move before Amare and Melo contracts start hitting in. For next year they would combine for about 37 mill. For the 2012-13, they would combine for about 40m. Every million makes a huge difference When we have 2 guys maxed out and no more picks. I love Chauncey, I always did since Twolves days, but that's a long time ago. Would someone like Sessions and adding a center this summer be more efficient? Or having someone like Jared Jeffries being out defensive stopper? Kris Humphries would be very helpfull and affordable too.
I wonder if we still have the MLE if it would be enough to land Wilson Chandler or Jeff Green?
Or Adding a center or splitting it up be more efficient?
