Denver didn't want to deal with the Knicks and the Nets had enough trading first and second round picks to get both Williams and Melo. If only they told Melo and Denver that they could get Williams. Denver would have taken a little less just not to do business with the Knicks. Even though they raped us.LoL Go to Rhyze.gov and see papabears latest album and video tell me what you think.

It has been reported that the Jazz were following the Melo-Drama closely and once the Nets lost Melo to New York, the Jazz approached the Nets with the offer. Has the Nets knew of Williams' availability before that, you could wonder if a scenario like this one could have happened. But this was more "cause and effect".
