Felton 1-5 - 2 pts
Galo 1-6 - 2 pts
Chandler 4-8 - 13

I am gonna miss Chandler. Galo is overated especially his shooting - way too inconsistent to have a rep as a shooter. Moz back on the bench - I hope he gets to play.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Gallo also has 4 rebs, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in under 20 minutes thus far.
I'm sure he's nervous starting in a new city as well. Melo started last night 4-13.

He'll do fine in Denver.

The thing with Gallo is: he is a underrated defender and really good and get to the rim and getting fouled in the process. However, he will never be a consistent shooter. Way overrated in that aspect.

no way the sum of these guys is significantly greater than Melo... that said, don't make these guys sound like ****. They are why the franchise is elevate now. I understand some of the posters here made them sound like Second Coming but that doesn't entitle disrespecting their contributions.

Newness and unfamiliarity with their new digs is a factor. IMO Gallo is a bench player though. If I were a coach he'd be a guy I have come in and encourage to catch fire as soon as he checks in. Hired gun, then once he catches fire have him do a little more within the offense. Felton is just overall sloppy, he was in Charlotte, he was with us. J.R. Smith may be their new leader to replace Melo, he's looked very good 2 games without Melo. What our players have added to their team is depth and they can defend every single position on the court. The team is athletic and huge.

Chandler has been great tonight though

Oh and the trade was awful as today Larry Coon mentioned we also have to swap 1rst round picks in 2016 if needed

YUCK and I'll never like Melo as a player. I never did

Denver is running away now. They are really good defensively now and a great rebounding team. This does look like a good trade for both teams. It woulda been nice to get bach Nene or ever Martin,

First off Carmelo isnt LBJ and the Nuggets are not the cavs--this is a good team that might just have gotten better. They did not lose this trade.

Disagree big time on the shooting. A guy with his overall length, and the length of his arms really has to pay attention to form and work on mechanics.

I really think he needs someone to talk to him about his form and where it has changed since he came into the league. He has to look at his foot position and getting squared to the basket, and the fade-away **** has got to go. His 3Pt.% has gone down since he came into the league and there is a reason for it. He depends too much on his arms and not enough on his legs when he shoots.

This is what you have coaches for, and he should be out early before games working on foot positioning and release technique.

Hell- I'll go as far and say I might have wanted Nene and Billups without Melo if it had meant keeping one or two of the guys we traded away.

Martin also played with some fire today.

Pride is steeping up on that team.

Gallo played Ray Allen in the beginning. Then he came in as a PF and guarded big baby. He did a good job on both. That is impressive. We have seen him guard PG's effectively too as a Knick.

His shooting will come around.

However, all being said, there is no way he resigns in Denver when his time comes. He will be back on the east coast.

I am not that impressed with Denver being 2-0. The truth is they will have a slight uptick but then reality will set in and the tight games will come and the leadership and scoring of Melo and Billups will be sorely missed.

Wow, Felton is off the bench, behind Ty Lawson? That's ridiculous. I feel bad for these guys. That team has way too many solid players.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

He also stopped Pierce and forced Pierce to 3 fouls early.

I missed that, turned the game at 11-11. Pierce already on bench.

Gallo played a good game and his team won. Dude does a lot of things.

These guys got their worlds rocked and are basically playing scrimmage. IT gets worse once they attempt to fit into an offensive scheme.

Karl should just go two units. Put in Harrington and he has 5 knicks.

The trade is judged based on Melo's impact, not on ex-knicks. The trade is done.

I will never hate on those guys. This was the only feel good team we had in 10 years.

I would enjoy a Knuggs-Knicks NBA final in two years!

Addition By Subtraction

If Denver could dump Al Harrington they would go:

Felton
Crazy but oh-so-gifted JR Smith
Wilson Chandler
Martin/ Gallo
Nene

That does not suck that bad.

Denver is 34-25.

th man.
Karl already stated that Gallo is starting. They have a very good starting 5 right now. JR Smith is the perfect 6th man. The starting SG (Afallo I think) was pretty decent.
