Some sweet passes, completely in control (not like Ray Ray) - I am stoked!

Said the same thing in the game thread..Stuff like that you can't put a price on it. He saw a major flaw in TD's defensive thinking (Overplaying the hand and funneling to rim to shotblockers) and told him right there. Something TD has been doing all season. Makes you wonder why D'Antoni has never pulled him aside and told him.

As soon as he told TD..TD changed his defensive stance to a more traditional straight up stance. The Team is in good hands with Billups.

Never bought into funneling, I always play someone like they can go left or right.

Because MDA can't coach Defense since he knows nothing about it. Billups was All Defense at Detroit and he can't teach these guys a thing or two.

I loved S Williams defensive hustle tonight - I think he can get alot better.

Agree I thought this from first rumor with Billups in it

He has learned from best coaches in Game and has won it ALL

TD respects Billups you can see it

I think he said I'll do whatever you tell me if i read his lips right when Billups was coaching him

Then came up with huge rebound

Influence he didn't get from Felton

KNICKS on the way UP!!!

Hopefully Billups points out all the flaws in our defense all season. I see us getting better with Coach Billups.

Also when you concede a drive you leave your Big Men in an island..We lead the league in blocks cause of this philosophy but also leads to fouls and plenty of easy shots if a good teams moves the ball quickly. It's like you are conceding a 5 on 4 situation.

When the ball swings the last guy in the rotation is always late and I pull my hair (whatever is left) out cursing at MDA to fix this effin thing. That is what Coach Chauncy (great name) was pointing out.

As someone mentioned, naming Billups a Captain would be a great idea

Amar'es tantrums are not setting the best example as team leader.

Please run a play for Landry Fields

once a knick always a knick

I agree, we haven't gotten too many rebounds after the initial block.

Who can dig up that thread where I argued that Billups is a huge upgrade over Felton?

This part of the deal was amazing, Billups is such a steady hand. He can drive us deep into the playoffs.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Exactly! I was a Felton supporter and loved it when he signed with us. But I also understand that we just got an upgrade at the PG position!

Chauncy just on Postgame. Said he was very exited to be a knick (whew!) and you can't win a championship without being a very good defensive team. He should know.

Man Coach Chauncy really knows his stuff. He seems like the type to know everyone's weakness in the league. Melo & Billups are gonna come in handy during those close games against our rivals. Can't wait to play Boston just to see the matchups.

Did anyone see Chauncy coaching TD tonight?
