Jordan is averaging 6.7 pts and 2.9 boards playing in Serbia. He is averaging 14 minutes a game. He has started 8/11 games so far. Just from jumping around the net looking for info on him it appears that his team is happy with him and he is a presence. However, I think he is a long way from being an NBA player. I think his name is being thrown around either as a potential trade piece or to make Walsh's position in a trade not seem so desperate.

Not too happy with this rebounding totals. Shooting at a 66% clip is impressive though.

you're basing this on what exactly? he's 7'0/250 and had a nice college career, not outstanding by any means, but a nice career. always had a good FG% in college, hits his FT at 70% clip and he blocks a good 2 shots a game. so he's a scrub how?

Looking at his highlights he reminds me of Stacey King.

He'll be a backup center - either second or third string. He was worth the million dollars that Dolan doled out.

Time for an update:

some stat love - i like the offensive/defensive rebound ratio, the fg% and the blocked shots.

having him on the roster next year is a must.

Had enough Melo?

It wont hurt to bring him in considering our other options. Let's see what he's got.

sounds like there won't be a summer league this year due to the labor unrest.. don't ask me for a source, i just remember reading that about a week ago. i'll see if i can dig it up again.

Sometimes.. actually most of the time. It's who you play with.
I bet Jerome Jordan would be a solid option to man the Paint with Stoudemire and involve the center in some pick and rolls while also having STAT and Melo to work with.
We did not have any offense in the C position this season.

Jeffries looks frightened when he gets the ball within 5 feet of the basket and Turiaf only late in the season started to look for his offense.
I think we would find him a welcome addition no matter what role he has on the team next year.

This guy has to be on the knicks this year. It's hard to read players production in Euro leagues, see Brandon Jennings, but he is big and can finish........... we can take that on the bench right now.

Hopefully he is good enough to take the backup position and the knicks can move Ronnie Turf's 4 million expiring for a center who isn't injuried as much.

Good point and I think that may largely be the case regarding his minutes and role. (as was the case with Jennings). Teams over there who play drafted players are not going to go out of their way to play the players if they are going to lose them. I'm not saying this is the case completely, but should be considered.

JJ is going to be a solid player, especially on this team. I think he will be a better finisher than Mos but not as good on defense (at least as a help defender blocking shots - which I REALLY like about Mos.) For sure he will be playing here next year. He needs to add some weight on defense, but can you imagine a center who is a very good finisher like Jordon playing with 2 1/2 max players next year? Cheer up guys...

he looks like the perfect center beside stat... he is huge plus he can finish... Defenses will keep n eye on him therefore reducing the double team stat and melo receive

The big question on Jerome Jordan is he MDA material? To me he looks more like dog house bound taking MDA needs into account.

Has anyone heard news about the draft?

The question is Jerome Jordan NBA material. From what I have seen he is not.
