oh that is BRILLIANT. I love venision and that gamey taste would be perfect in chili... No I never tried it, but I'll talk to the hunters I know here in Houston and see if they have any in there freezer

I forgot to mention the kidneys, stewed tomatos, and sauce, but that's the necessary and usual stuff. chili has to be tomato based to be good
