Love or hate the trade, the Knicks are a better professional basketball team.

I think Billups could make up the third part of a big three. Getting Mr. Big Shot was a huge bonus in this trade. His leadership, playmaking, shooting and ability to get to the line seem to be an underrated part of this trade. The guy won championships with the Pistons and the team has never been the same since he left. He transformed the Nuggets when he was traded for Iverson. If I am Greg Brittenham I call Steve Nash and Grant Hill and find out what the nutritional program is that these guys follow and put Chauncey on it.

my reactions today have gone from relief that it's over, to excitement, to regret. i feel kind of sick now. we traded away the entire team. whatever is left is a different team now. i dunno. i'm skeptical heading into this new era.

We have three guys that dont run from and can make clutch baskets down the stretch. All have performed admirably in the playoffs and one has a finals mvp in his trophy case. I'm very excited about moving into the new era. Our stars are 28 and 26.

I like the deal cuz we have a mini big 3 already. People seem to be slow on appreciating how good Billups is. He's not gonna blow you away, but he's smart and efficient. It doesn't seem like he's doing anything, but at the end of the game you see he's been doing a lot more than it seems. In crunchtime he's a big asset. Felton had heart, but he didn't have the shooting touch to back it up. CB can shoot. He's tricky too and gets to the line.

A big key is gonna be Fields. He can play center fielder on D and help out. He'll do what he always does and get that timely rebound or hoop. I know they won't know each other for a while, but I like the lineup. If Donnie can find some bigman help this could be a very exciting playoff drive.
