Let me ask you this -- would you rather have Corey Brewer around to lock down the opponent's best player all game together with Fields (this could be huge -- if even for only the rest of the year, Brewer defending good players frees up Anthony from doing so)
AND say a Jeff Adrien (a similar player to Landry that we could go out and get right now with one simple phone call
OR Carl Landry by himself..Easy decision for me -- gimmie the first two guys.
I don't think Brewer's as bad an offense player as he's been this year in Minnesota but regardless, we have enough offense anyway..Brewer's specialty is DEFENSE..Always has been..He could play a very pivotal role come playoff time -- here's a bonafide, very capable defender that we can put on guys like Luol Deng, Jason Richardson, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Lebron/Wade, etc..Look, this guy's probably gone after the year but let's not discount what he could do for us the rest of the way..I kinda like what he brings actually.
