When Melo sat down to look at Dolan in the eye did anyone look Melo back and ask him will he sacrifice some of the "Star" statistics he puts up to rebound and play defense?
Play winning basketball?
Did he fully understand that there will be intense pressure on him where Amare did not have much?
Did Dolan consider just what Moz ment to Amares game? Having that monster keeping the ball alive in the paint gave him easy points?
I see many things that Amare does also Melo does.
While Moz "is just a reserve player" do guys like that grow on trees? ANd when was the last time we had a guy like that with potential.
Im sure this will take time to gel, and of course we get to do this all over again next year with CP3 and Deron Williams.
So If this is to be can I just "Starphuch it" and be impatient if we don't do well out of the gate?

I liked our guys. I had faith they could grow and become both better players and valuable assets.
I remember when we got McAdoo to player with Haywood. It did not work. We awere excited about the prospects but it was a disaster.
Boston succeeded its starphuch because the players were mature and bought into it. Miami three players are not selfish in there game.
Has melo demostrated an unselfish ability? What is my expectation? He orchestrated this deal, took the money and I EXPECT HIM TO ELEVATE HIS GAME TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
No guarantees but you know when you trade 4 starters the expectation is almost at that level. If not then why do it?
Anything short of a championship inside of 3 years is a failure. If not then why do it?
