Walsh was hired with complete autonomy. What a joke. If the old man had any balls he would quit today.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Had any balls? He's 70 years old. He doesn't need to do stuff out of vengeance at his age. He will retire quietly after the season like the class act he is.

Its about his reputation , his legacy. I actually am disappointed at him that he let this trade go down on his watch. I guess that "Godfather" motto really does apply. He made Denver an offer they couldn't refuse.

Bro, Dolan owns the team. Dolan makes the final decisions. Walsh can't boss Dolan around. Dolan is his boss.

C2D you're right and someone is confused about what happened.

There is no way Walsh should quit this is a true challenge and he isn't going to back down from a challenge.

I really feel bad about Donnie. Dolan and Popcorn Man are out of control.

I know what happened. BUT if you are hired for a job under certain conditions and those conditions change, what do you do? Either you are a ***** and take it or you stand up like a man and quit. I don't care if no one agrees with me on this. I am very disappointed in Walsh

This is just a dumb argument. Sorry.

I said most people won't agree with me. It is standing up for what you believe in. Walsh was so disenchanted with what was going on , he went to Indiana during the negotiations.

I think the introductory press conference will be very telling.

That's his home base now and All-Star games are not generally where NBA executives gather. It's a fun time for the players and fans, but is rarely the hive activity it was this year.

grimace with his arms crossed forced smile IF he can even muster that

But why would Dolan let Donnie have the spotlight on this? This is "his" move, his baby and he's getting props from a certain amount of the press. It's time for Jimmy to step into the spotlight and be really happy with himself.

One source said Walsh packed up and left because he was irritated and felt it was a waste of time being in New York since trade negotiations were taking place in Los Angeles without him, and with Thomas advising Dolan. Another league source said Thomas wanted to make the deal more than Walsh did.

It is when members of your organization, including your team owner, are there working on a trade that involves half your team and most of its trade assets.

I think Walsh was pushed aside by Dolan to make this move. However, I read somewhere that Walsh always spends the all star break at his home in Indiana.

He is still using a walker to get around, has not travel with the team at all since the operation.
He set up the deal, and dolan worked out the players involved..

IT had nothing to with this deal other then telling dolan to make the deal at any cost, walsh and MDA wanted this deal, minus a player or 2..they all agreed that it was risky to wait for FA..

What role was IT to play, the player wanted to come here, he didn't have to convince nobody
