Papabear Says
Carmelo Not Mad At Nuggets For 'Asking For Everything And The Kitchen Sink'
Feb 21, 2011 00:12 AM EST
Anthony has clearly showed a preference for an extension and trade to the Knicks. If Anthony remains on Denver's roster on Friday following the deadline, would he be unhappy.
"I won't be upset at all," said Anthony to RealGM.
Anthony met with the Knicks and Nets over the weekend and described both meetings as "good" and that he mostly did the listening.
The Nuggets continue to seek a more attractive trade package in exchange for Anthony. The offer from the Knicks is already beyond what they were initially willing to give and the Nuggets are now insisting on the inclusion of Timofey Mozgov.
"I can't say that I'm mad at Denver for asking for everything and the kitchen sink," said Anthony to RealGM. "I can't be mad at that."
The Nuggets, Knicks, Nets and Anthony have until 3:00 PM EST on Thursday.
"The deadline is Thursday, obviously something has to happen whether I stay in Denver or they trade me."
