DW as GM said he wouldn't do the deal of he looked at the team post trade and didn't feel they would be better. DW is against the trade as is MDA. If DW doesn't believe this trade makes the team better, why is Dolan pushing so hard to make it happen? MDA may be against the trade becuase of Gallo being included but I find it to be interesting non the less. What do you all think about this?

If they make the trade, DW will be gone at the end of April, and who knows if Isiah gets back a couple of months later. That shows you how good this situation trully is !

Don't be too happy about this trade, cause it might very well spell the start of a new dark era of starpuking...

Kenny Smith said it last night after the rookie/soph game and it's in an article in today's New York Daily News.

I'm so sick of this situation... can you believe our GM might have to do things he doesn't want to do because of Dolan ??? This is a disgrace... and honestly, if DW is not resigned and isiah is back, I think I might be DONE with the Knicks, no matter how good they will be with Melo and STAT. I will have lived through 10 years of terrible basketball, all for not, but in the end, I just can't live with such a terrible franchise.

Like I said a couple of times, I'm glad I was able to enjoy a few months of bulding a real team. If Isiah is back, I'm done with Knicks basketball.

Any GM dumb enough to sign a contract to work for Dolan deserves the torture they'll endure. Why does Dolan want to do this trade? It's not too confusing. Carmelo is more profitable than all the players combined that we're giving up. Dolan runs a profit-driven corporation.

He can have Melo in the offseason... let's see if Melo really wants to play in NY. Put him in that situation... alright, you want the money, alright, go and play for the rebuilding Nets on a team noone cares about... or you can wait and sign a max contrat with a great young team this offseason..

This idea that Dolan is now calling all the shots is an insult to Walsh.

melo said he would consider signing with the nets if ny cant get a deal done...there won't be any off season.

At this point i'm cool with either one, this is a classic case of "can't have your cake and eat it".

If melo is to wind up here with gallo or chandler, i don't see where the shots come from for either
