This was yesterdays news from realgm wiretap.

Hamilton Buyout Could Lead To Signing With Boston
Feb 16, 2011 17:41 PM EST

If Richard Hamilton negotiates a buyout of his contract with the Pistons, he'll likely have to give back a portion of the $25 million he's owed over the next two years.

The Celtics remain interested in Hamilton as a scorer off the bench, according to sources.

If he does get bought out we need to offer him a starting spot and see if that would interest him more so then coming off the bench for Boston.

interesting option if we end up having to give up Landry in a Melo deal.

C - Timo or Ronny
PF - Amare
SF - Melo
SG - Rip
PG - Billups
6 - Wilson
7 - TD
8 - Williams
9 - Walker

hmm

Even if we don't give up Landry I could see Rip starting for us and moving Fields to the second unit. Rip's only a rental for this season.

RIP (@ Pistons): R.I.P

So TMS you want to rebuild 2/5ths of the old Pistons?

Bring back Sheed I say! Great back up for Amare and we will lead the league in "T"s twice over!

Miami got the King, so we need to go after Prince as well.

That leaves Big Ben -- He would be a great coach and mentor for Timo, coaching job may be?

Last but not least Joe Dumars!!

I don't think Rip fits on this team. He's not a great shooter from deep and D'Antoni wouldn't want him running all over the place in our offense.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

My guess is he signs in Boston or Miami. He might be interested in reuniting with Billups depending on what happens.

I would love Sheed on this team!

Him and Turiaf celebrating on bench would be classic

God forbid this scenario happens.

i'd much rather we keep Fields & get the Melo deal done some other way.
