Knicks want roster spot to activate Michael Sweetney, possibly to showcase him with the Feb. 19 trade deadline approaching. They may bring Sundov back after deadline.

I love it!!!!!

I know Sundov only had 2 points, but those 2 points looked good.....meaning the way he got the basket. You guys saw how he moved and twisted and turned to make that basket?

It was nicee.

Sundov looked nice in his bigtime 4 minutes in the crunch
Don't read to much into this but he looked better then Lampe in his 4 mintues for Phenex that I saw bout 10 games ago lol.
The move was sweet thou, I wonder what stiff was guarding him.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I saw Lampe play alot in the summer league(for whatever thats worth)and he definately has skills. In 3 yrs you are going to be eating those words.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

i'm clueless why we'd want to trade sweets... he could develop into a low-post guy for us... why do we trade everyone away who we should be developing? and we have no draft pick this year (1st round) - are these guys dumb?

Maybe we want to trade Sweetney (in a package) for someone a little more developed. We could still sign Sundov as an IR "practice player"...

As far as Lampe is concerned... isn't 3 years a long time from now? Besides we could always someone manage to trade for him once he's more developed and ready to earn his pay. Right now, he just takes up a roster spot and earns money sitting.

case makes a valid point. we can't trade all our roks and then try and get them back 2/3 yrs later. that's how you stay with the highest payroll in the league, and can't sign any big name. and if you want to pick up someone from another team, you gotta give up an arm and a ball for him. lampe i liked, but did'nt prove enough to me for me to be heart broken. sweets i followed all through college. the kid has post moves, and a decent inside jumper. hope he's getting back in shape. bare in mind guys, some guys break out right away, some don't.
