that's the best game thread summary to date--good job. we absolutely need to beat them and it would help if we crushed them and destroy their confidence... so they think the top six teams are good and they're on that bottom tier with thte rest of the garbage.

I have a not good feeling about these 2 games. wouldn't be surprised at 2 loses.

these would be classic let down games

the game is on 2/4 though, not tonight... you may want to edit the title and prevent mass hysteria when people can't find it on tv

They're only 3 games behind us. This can get a little dangerous. I don't want just a playoff birth. I want to be better than the Sixers.

If Philly wins these 2 games, then their 1 game behind will come down to the tougher schedule.

Anyone know if our schedule is harder than theirs?

If we lose twice to Philly EVERY game we play should be considered a tough game.

Unless we play CLE.

Oh, wait. We lost to them already.

We need a buffer because you dont know what desperate teams like Charlotte and Milwaukee will do. You also have to factor in teams like Washington(Hinrich and Lewis), Cleveland(Jamison), or Detroit(Prince, Hamilton, Gordon, Villanueva) giving away players.

I think Milwaukee has to be the most disappointing team after their 46 win season last year.

unless Donnie knows for certain that Melo is coming, I'd take Bogut for cheap. I think he's the type of player the team sorely needs

Milwaukee wants to play musical chairs with Maggette's and Gooden's contracts. Milwaukee was capped out and they know no one is signing to play there.

Im sure guys like Elton Brand and Rashard Lewis look pretty good to Milwaukee right about now.

Bogut is the backbone of their front court. They dont have a backup center either. You cant expect Milwaukee to pay Salmons(5 yr 40 mil) and Gooden(5 yrs 25 mil) with no prospects coming back. Milwaukee doesnt need Randolph because they have Larry Sanders.

I'm not saying I *expect* but I would offer it and see if their ownership is interested in saving $6 or 7 million this season and clear $20 million in salary next. I'm not saying it's fair I'm saying if they're trying to give contracts away then Bogut would be persuaded.

You just love to yell and shout about stuff
