We need a buffer because you dont know what desperate teams like Charlotte and Milwaukee will do. You also have to factor in teams like Washington(Hinrich and Lewis), Cleveland(Jamison), or Detroit(Prince, Hamilton, Gordon, Villanueva) giving away players.

unless Donnie knows for certain that Melo is coming, I'd take Bogut for cheap. I think he's the type of player the team sorely needs
