A little birdie tells me the Wizards are going to a modern version of the old Bullets uniforms with the stripes on the chest next season, and the Knicks are ditching the black and going to a very simple design, à la the Cavaliers.

A legit site dedicated to uniform changes in all major leagues is reporting that we will remove the black from both the home and away jerseys and go for a more simple (or traditional) design.

i still like these uni's the best w/the wide bands of color on the sides & the players' # on the shorts

I liked those too but I wouldn't mind seeing us return to jerseys from our glory days.

BTW, Alan Hahn confirmed they are planning changes after I asked him about the report.

The Knicks Fix
I mentioned in the summer that the Knicks were mulling uniform change ideas but it couldn't be done in time for this season. This supports my report.

I love LOVE the 90s uni's. I just dropped a ton of money on an authentic STAT jersey, but I'll bs happy if they go to the old jerseys.

I've been hoping they would do something like the pic C2D posted, but with smoother lettering. Go traditional but up date it a little. I definitely hope they soften up the Knicks logo. That feels a couple decades old.

that would be cool. While they're at it, they should change the key to blue like in the 90s. I always thought the court looked better with a blue key as opposed to the orange key. This is the only picture i could find.

I like the throwbacks that Marbury's knicks used to wear for stretches. A lot of good choices, but I agree the current Knicks logo needs updating. It looks like its taken from a 50's Marvel comicbook cover.

There's a blue version of this jersey that I thought was cool.

These aren't bad either...

i love the early-mid 90's knicks jerseys. i thought the black stripe they added for the 99 season was really cool, but i was always bummed they didn't go back.

i'd love a return to the classic early 90s look.

Why don't we have alternate Jerseys I own an Allan Houston Jersey in Orange it was listed as alternate road jersey when I bought it. looks just like this one
