Yeah, it's just one game (and they hadn't even won it when I started this thread), but he was a MOZZTER tonight.

Yes. Yes it did indeed happen. Now does this make him a valued part of a trade or all the move valuable to the future of the Knicks?

Turiaf is still our best low post defender... u take him out & you're leaving urself thin again up front... we have enough wing players in this rotation... we can spare Williams or Walker.

assuming Mozgov sticks I'd bet Walker is out. Williams does not seem to miss from 3 often and we know MDA gets off on that.. Though Bill Walker has been playing decent lately too so who knows

Mosgov and gallo played great. I said dont start Mosgov but how did this guy stay all of these games on the bench--he could not provide energy off the bench?

I'm pretty excited about Mozgov's breakout game - this could shift the way they play in the 2nd half of the season - popping him in with the Amare makes the Knicks a huge team.

I'd love him to become a regular part of the unit that hits the floor when Amare sits - I think if Mozgov is on, he makes a fine pick and roll partner for Felton... and also forces the defense to stretch a bit - he's a threat for an easy alley-oop every time down the court.

OK so now we have our backup C (or future starting C)... i guess now we're poised to make a run for the championship this year

I LOOOVED his rebounding. My eyes were pretty much glued to Mozgov and AR when they were on the court, just to see how they'd do, and even when he couldn't get the board, he was boxing out his man. There was one long rebound where he was actually pushing out his man TOWARD the basket so he couldn't chase it, and then Toney D hustled to grab it.

Damn I missed the game still moving, but that's an impressive stat line. Double-double in the first NBA game with significant minutes. The Russkie ain't no slouch, take that Pokhorov.

I think he takes Walkers place. However, Walker hasn't seen many minutes lately. It would be nice if Turiaf's minutes could be limited a bit so that he doesn't get hurt as often.

kind of an odd question about Moz replacing Williams or Walker as neither of those guys really play the same role as Moz does.

I am thinking and hoping that Moz minutes mean less minutes for Amare and Turiaf. We shall see.
