Dallas needs to find a guy who can replace Butler and Wilson is perfect. Roddy gives us the an additional athletic penetration and adds to team speed. I know he is hurt but he is a high caliber prospect who has already shown he can play at a high level.

So, 22 years old, 6'2 but with arms the length of legs (i.e. wingspan-- 6'9). Hasn't played this year, but last year, shot 40% from behind the arc (including one game against GS where he went 9-11 on 3's) and over 50% from the field overall. But, the stats are a small sample set given his average of 12 mins per game.

At the end of the day, I don't think Beaubois is much more than a backup. He really is a tweener guard and his wingspan allows him to guard opposing 2's but his pg skills aren't that great.

But he has 3 more years on his rookie contract, which is the kind of trade we would want for IllWill. Not sure if Beaubois is really the guy for this team, but he could be the kind of asset that we can hold onto for a few more years. So, I wouldn't trash the deal, but I'm not running to make it either.

You know I gonna spin wit it

I don't see how that makes sense unless we get a pick from them. Chandler is a proven developed commodity this kid is a prospect.

Plus its trading big for small.

I really don't see how this makes sense without a pick.Even with a pick which will probably be a late first rounder, it seems shaky.

I would imagine we could do alot better for Chandler.

Yeah, but Chandler is a RFA coming from a system that makes players look good. And, they already got Marion. I think a single asset for Chandler is prob the most you can get. A late 1st rder or a late drafted player with some upside.

Roddy is one of the more sought after players in the league. I don't think they'd even do a 1-1 deal with us.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Beaubois is coming off injury and the Mavs are starving for a player that can come in and have an impact right away.

They're really high on the kid but I think their urgency puts us in a good position in this trade. Throw in a little something extra and Cuban would be crazy not to seriously consider it.

The only thing is that we would be trading for a player that needs time to mature and develop, and we already have a roster full of those types. It would be spinning our wheels, really.

No deal.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

If the CBA results in a hard salary cap, players like Beaubois are going to be crazy valuable in terms of trades. He's got years left at a low salary and you know he can ball.
