To me, it's close. We all know how Scott Layoff nearly destoyed the Knicks but Danny Ainge is inserting a Time Bomb ready to explode within the organization.

Layoff traded Spree, Ainge traded Walker. Layoff signed Weatherspoon, This guy Ainge picked up a washed up drunk, Vin Baker and traded good defensive players, Eric Williams and Tony Battie.

Layoff picked up longterm contracts of Eisley(gone) and Shandon A but after making the playoffs 2 consecutive seasons with a good coach in O'Brien, Ainge cans him.

To me, Layoff was worse cause he gets no respect from the league.

Scott LayDoff is worse, because he has screwed the Knicks up for more years and much worse than Danny Ainge.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Layden is the worst! What really pissed me off about him was Eisley and Shandon and giving Houston that $100million contract! He killed our cap!

layden was worse,but ainge is making a strong run...

Just like Martin recently said on the Bos vs Knicks thread. Ainge is starting to make Layoff look good based on how the celts have been playing recently. Also, all the stupid moves he's doing so far..

i would've gotten rid of atwoine walker also, but he certainly didn't milk him for all he couldve. walker in boston was a ball hog and took way too many bad shots.

You guys must really miss Layden to start comparing him to Ainge.

I'll put it this way: Yankees are to New York similar to Celtics are to Boston.

Ainge has more face to lose in Boston than Layden could lose in NY
