here is what I know: None of us on this board or most any other know exactly what goes on from a team doctor or team physician role. We don't know if Norman is doing the surgeries or if he is assisting (which comes down to watching). We don't know if the players follow their prescribed rehab. We don't know what type of freedom the players have to get second and third and fourth opinions about surgery.

You don’t know what's going on, I don't know what's going on.

Why would a player/players go back to a doc that keeps screwing up? Why would a team hold on to a doc that is no good?

This I do know: The Knicks are an old team. Have been for a while. Old teams injure more easily and take much longer time to recover.

Also: Houston admitted to returning from surgery too early. How is that anyone but his fault?

It all comes down to probabilities, and when 100% of what is done goes wrong there is obviously somebody screwing up constantly, and the only constant has been Norman Scott and his friends.

Houston has had his knee scoped like 4 times.

I agree. There are just some ballclubs with bad histories when it comes to injuries. It's either their medical staff is incompetent or the organization doesn't make sure that the players get the best treatment AND follow a good rehab program. A player like Houston should be sat on the bench to heal, whether or not he feels like he can play.

I'd like to see the KNicks try using another doc and just se how that goes. Let's see if we hear about the injury recurring or if there are any residual flareups.

With the immense investments that the Knicks make in their players' contracts, one would think that someone in the Knicks front office over these years would have thought of that by now.

Just look at the team, we have been injured forever, not just this year, for the past few years. We have had different players, different coaches, diffrent gm's, only the same doctor. Only a blind fool can't see that the doctors are not doing a good job, but then again you are playa lol.
