Jan 26 F Carl Landry is drawing interest from the Trail Blazers, with sources saying there have been talks between the teams. One scenario is Landry, a key reserve, going to the Blazers for a first-round pick and cash considerations. The Kings would not comment on it, however.

If Landry is availble for a pick and cash I hope Walsh makes an offer.

First round pick is a lot to give up on a guy who is at end of contract without extension.

Not sure DW would do this before Melo.

Are you concerned about him as a player or his contract?

I don't think he is worth a first rounder.

I think he is but he has had an off year. It seems like a pretty dysfunctional situation in Sacramento. He plays well when he gets minutes.

Carl is a good 6-7 power forward.

Whose minutes does he get?

He is listed at 6'9" 248lbs. So probably about 6'8" 250lbs.
It would open up a 9 man rotation and Landry could back up both PF and Center. Give Amare a little rest and substitute for Turiaf when he is injured.

The last thing we need is an undersized big. We need a real big, we do not have the luxury of getting this guy when our Center is 6-9.

I am also for a real BIG. Who and how can we get him and still have the ability to get Melo? Oh, he also has to fit in with MDA system so he gets playing time.
