Your joking right. Gallo is penciled in at the 3 for life as long as MDA is here. That's his boy.

ah, did he say anything different? and honestly, that comes off as a cheap shot to gallo.. the kid deserves his spot.. unless you want to watch the walker, williams, chandler Triumvirate continue to hurt our eyes....

Can people stop intimating that Gallo is better than Chandler? There's an assumption on these boards that you're actually watching the games before you post.

Chandler is hurting your eyes?

Better get your eyes checked.

I still would like to see a move for Maynor, an underrated pick and roll expert in order to put Amare in more effortless scoring opportunities. We need to be able to play small ball for 48 minutes on certain nights when that is the favorable matchup and having a real backup PG is essential to that.

However, Mike needs to recognize the nights where Turiaf should be in there a little better. Gallo would normally sit with Turiaf in there, but he's going to have to start, not because he's better than Chandler, but because he's still inconsistent. (not as bad as he used to be) Chandler brings it every night. He can come off the bench because he's better than Gallo just like Jason Terry and Crawford are much better than the guys starting ahead of them.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

You are such a Danilo Gallinari homer it's disgusting. Only in your world is Gallinari better than Wilson Chandler.

i agree w/everything u just said... i think it makes sense to put Wilson back in the 6th man role, not because Gallo's better, but because Wilson has already shown he can excel in that role in the past... sometimes it takes Gallo a few quarters to get into the flow of the game & start scoring, which is not your ideal to have as a bench player... Turiaf as the starting C brings the most balance to our roster right now, at least until we're able to upgrade the roster... TD or Shawne Williams are bit role players, not worthy of being the main 6th man option on a regular basis.

why stop... stop telling what I feel is the truth? Honestly, the knicks can do two things that would make us better.. sit chandler as a 6th man...He is a limited player when he has to do anything else than take an open shot.. those drives to the lane with that crazy windmill move is getting defended well.. guys can see that coming a mile away.. chandler needs to go up against the matchups off the bench vs the other teams bigs.. that is where most of his success comes..

I would love to upgrade this team with mayo at SG, and have fields come off the bench as well.. I think fields will be great in that role. and then get us a starting center... then you will have the balance on the floor with felton, mayo, gallo, amare and a center... and your wing players are guys who can defend, score, pass and a high level of ball IQ out there... and then you can bring in fields who still will get 25-30 min a game and he can still give you the same production.. chandler can come in and shoot away... something he is good at.... gallo is a better all around talent... period, mayo would be a better all around talent at SG.... it strengthens our first as well as our bench... two fold...

unfortunately knicks don't seem to be intersted in mayo except as a trade piece...

What makes you think he's so good? How many knicks games have you seen for the past few years?

Why are these two always being compared when they have entirely different games.

They actually compliment each other, as does most of the team.

because on this board you're nobody unless you're a hatter or a homer... u must bear sworn allegiance to 1 side & anything that is said against your side must be met with great vengeance & furious anger.

Can't call me a hater when I never once said anything false about Danilo Gallinari. I honestly don't even hate him. I hated Stephon Marbury. I have nothing against Gallinari. I just see him for what he's worth and don't make crazy comments. You can't even admit Wilson Chandler is the better player. Heck, Landry Fields is already a better player too. You act as if I want Gallinari to fail and not be good. It's not like that at all.

So your continued "assault" on the young Italian's value, which some would say borders on "trollism," is not born of hatred...only a lack of judgment.

I'm OK with that. Time will settle this so called issue.

first of all, I don't admit things that are not true.

second.. I like fields a lot, but he is not better...really.. If I were you, I would embrace the hater role, it is better than sounding like you don't know what you are talking about... the face that you say, you call it like you see it.. calls into questions a lot of things about your judgment here.. especially when several posters have called you out about the things you have said about gallo, which were false....

he says he calls it like he sees it.. LOL.. I think he would be better off going with the "hater" label, at least that would logically explain some of his "observations"..

At least Chandler and Gallo have STAT to have a chance to compete :) unlike Spree/H20 without Ewing.
