It's true I read on the Real GM and also other news forums this information that the owner of the Nets just want to get him there and he believe that he can talk him into signing an extension. How desperate can you be? What if he refuse. Carmelo should not let it go that far. He should let the Nets owner that he has no intentions of signing with them. They should just rebuild with their draft picks and by the time the new sports arena is built they just might have a good young team.
