Scrappy, steady center Anderson Varejao is done for the season with a torn ankle tendon that will require surgery, another major blow to the bottoming-out Cavs, who are not close to recovering after star LeBron James left as a free agent last summer. The Cavs are 8-29. They've lost 20 out of 21. NJ won 12 games last year. Will they make it? -- the preceding post was brought to you by the letter K and the number 22.

That's rough for Anderson. I hope he can come back from this.
