Liberate Gallinari, trade him for Melo so he can become The Man in Denver, a cold state with mountains.

We need to let Gallinari go. He has a type-A personality shrouded by his pre-age-7 cultural indoctrination of respect and humbleness. The guy has the balls of a LeBron but is being constricted by a suffocating Knicks regime that is bent on making him a 4th option.

Groom him as The Man and he will ejaculate all over the NBA league.

In overall effectiveness, absolutely. They might be skewed one way or the other, towards assists or steals or blocks or raw trey percentage. His PER will rival Dirk's if he is allowed to run free, like a member of the Siberian bovines that roam free for many seasons.

In the next 5 years, he should- if we liberate him or let him roam hungry across the New York metropolitan landscape.

Again, I state, if Danillo talked to me for just an hour, phone or e-mail, he would become an MVP. But, hey, I can't motivate the world.

At the least he will earn Loul Deng dollars if traded to Denver.

Gallo maybe looking at Al Harrington type money if the owners have their way with a ridiculous CBA. I hope the player's association shows some onions and put up a fight.

I can't imagine that. His defensive rebounds, blocks, and steals definitely have nothing to do with the offensive role he's been given, and those #s are way below Dirk's. (At least the rebounds are--not sure about the others.) To compensate, he'd have to average way more points and assists than Dirk does.

Quite frankly, the players should do a pre-emptive strike right a t playoff time. Once the playoffs are over, control shifts to the owners.

that would be a huge mistake if u ask me... they would totally piss off & alienate the entire NBA fanbase if they did that... the best solution is to work together during the offseason to make sure they get a new CBA in place & no games are sacrificed due to a lockout or strike... the same goes for the pending NFL situation... the last thing they wanna do is repeat the mistakes made by MLB during the last strike... it took them a long time to fully recover & get the fans to come back out to the games.
