i played a pick-up game (of soccer) with nash a few years back and we were on the same team. guy is so chill and a real good soccer player.

about a week later, i saw him walking down the block where i used to work (i was outside huffing on a cig w a buddy from work) and as he walked by, he saw me, stopped, pointed to me and said..."jimi right - didnt we played together last week?" my friend's jaw dropped - he's like, "you know steve nash wtf!"

Yeah, I met him at a party during All-Star Weekend in Nola. Most relaxed guy in the city, willing to talk to anyone. Spent 25 minutes discussing English football and his team (Spurs, Tottenham, not SA).

Just the perfect star, gives of his time, clean-cut and a real nice guy. And of course, a true HOF talent and deserved MVP. The guy brought creativity back to the NBA imo.

Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?
