DESPITE Jamaica's Jerome Jordan's career-high 23 points for his Serbian club in the Adriatic League yesterday, Hemofarm suffered their fifth straight defeat when they went down 70-90 to Slovenian team Krka at the Leon Tukelj Hall.
The 24-year-old, seven-foot centre has stepped up as Hemofarm's star player after the Serbians traded their number one shooter Croatian Milan Macvan to top Israeli team Maccabi Tel-Aviv last week.

In by far his best game and the longest he has ever played this season, Jordan added eight rebounds during the 38 minutes he was on court. The longest playing time he was ever given before yesterday's match was 22 minutes 45 seconds on November 20 against Czech Republic club Nymburk when he scored his previous career-best of 19 points.
Hemofarm trailed the entire match, 23-14 in the first quarter, 48-26 at half time, and 74-50 at the end of the third quarter.
Jure BalaÏiã (17 points) and Goran Ikoniç (16 points) led the way for Krka, with American Cristopher Booker chipping in with 14 points.
Jordan converted six of his seven field goal attempts and 11 of 16 free throws, though the Jamaica College past student has yet to make any attempts at a three-pointer.
Miljan Pavkoviç and Boris Savoviç contributed 10 points apiece in Hemofarm's losing cause, adding to the Serbian team's losing streak since November 26.
Hemofarm will next play away to Croatian team Cibona on December 5.
Based on results elsewhere Hemofarm are seventh in the standings, with Cibona in 13th place of the 14-team competition.
