TD has out played felton in the last 2 games..it's like Felton is now shoot first, and TD is pass first..

felton had 5 TO's 2 ast, and shot under 40%, shot 6 for 22(thats too many shots for a pg) in his previous game..

So what gives, is it the injury or is he getting to ****y

ny should trade felton for picks and make toney the new starting point guard for the knicks.

Felton and Amare looked really crappy in today's game against Indiana. Luckily Stat came up big at the end.

Great seeing Douglas play better. He is very very valuable to us when he's able to score and pass in addition to his great defense. He disrupted Indiana so much tonight with his ball denial.

edit - Also, I think Felton should have sat, moved TD to PG and played Fields as the SG. Why did Fields sit tonight?

I don't know, maybe it is because he is playing hurt, and is allowed to have a couple of bad games.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

It's hard to know because he is always grimacing. I didn't see that he looked hurt. Seemed like stupid play. If you are hurt stop shooting the ball. 2 assists? So you can shoot but not pass? LOL

Off hand is taped up, yes it makes it harder to make passes. You shoot with one and pass with two most of the time.

It's tough for Felton to get it going like he was until a week or so ago because of how teams are zeroing in on Amar'e. That coupled with Gallo driving and getting to the line and Wilson startinto go off before today has limited Felton's effectiveness as a passer. I think he is looking a bit too much for his shot though. He's got to limit those drives where he ends up engulfed with 3 defenders around him.

He'll be fine though.

Seems that Douglas' shoulder/arm is still an issue, though.

Felton may be a bit too offensive minded for me, but I don't think we can discount what he's meant for this team so far.

I'd like to see him do a better job kicking the ball out off of drives to the basket, and some of his turnovers continue to amaze me, but we are not where we are today without him on the team.

i never like when felton takes his shot first before passing. i feel the ball should come back to him before he takes a shot, but i also feel its not his call. he wouldnt be taking that first shot if he wasnt told to. ffs we seeing fields launching threes now, you know he is being told to do that. meh.

Players go through ups and downs, like everyone else. As long as the downs are not too low, it's no problem. Look for a strong game against the Spurs.

totally disagree. we need to trade felton for sebastian telfair and two number one picks. toney can lead this team into the playoffs.

Come on! REALLY? This is a marathon and no one plays great 82 straight games. Guys will go thru rough patches and have to deal with injury, lack of focus etc. I'm not really gonna get too worried until it proves to be a big problem over a long stretch.

Throw in Amar'e we might be able to scoop Kevin Love in that deal.

I see a player noticeably getting gassed earlier in the game. It used to be he had it in him to push the ball for 3 quarters. Now, he hardly pushes the pace in the second half.

Boston was the last game where I recall Felton really pushing the ball in the 4th, but I feel he was running on adrenaline that game.

In other words, we need a backup point before we wear out our starting PG like we did Duhon's 1st season.

His shot has also been way off a lot, which again, could be due to fatigue.

Yeah, I remember. Well then that falls on the coach. Why leave an injured player in the game, play Tony lots of minutes and sit Fields??? Now, maybe to help with Felton coach played Douglas and told him to be the PG and for Felton to be more of a SG, which he seems to excel at. ehehe
