we'd actually be able to beat the elite teams instead of JUST having good quarters or halves.

How we'd get them here is a different story, but if we would somehow be able to keep our general nucleus, and add them and perhaps give up AR and another piece or two, we'd be in very good shape.

Keeping Camby healthy is obviously a much bigger story, but it seems like his injuries lately have been a lot more minor than earlier in his career. Maybe I'm wrong about that.

The often injured Camby?

Camby would be nice but we need more than him and Duhon to beat elite teams.

I like Camby for nostalgic reasons and mainly as I think he'd be the ideal mentor for AR. But, if you think about it with a clear head, if we traded for him, we'd only have him for the second half of this season, then there's probably a lock out so he'd probably only play half a season next year then retire- thats not much play considering it would screw up our cap for the offseason and put a stop to any big free agent signings or trades.

Duhon is mentally broken after his stint here- we've seen it with most players who play for the Knicks- they're never the same and are out of the league once their new team realises it. Somehow Duhon got a 4 year deal- thats absurd. A ridiculous amount of money would be tied up with him just for 3 assists per game.

Camby would be my 1st choice if we're bringing in a big, but no thanks to Duhon... we could probably get just as good play out of someone like Brevin Knight at a fraction of the cost.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Yeah, or T.J. Hart for that matter. Say what you want about Duhon's play, but he did a heck of a job of picking an agent.

If Duhon were on a 1 year contract, he'd be a great choice as a backup. But have you seen his contract?! They'd have to give us at least two 1st round picks for me to be willing to take him.
