Just found this in a closet full of old stuff:

Figured I'd sell it and by a new flat screen or something... until I found somebody selling it for 18 cents online.

Still pretty neat though... a trip down memory lane. All SkyBox '93. Also had Pippen, Mullin, Hakeem, Laimbeer, Barkley, Derek Harper (on Mavs), Skiles, and a handful of others.

Oh good lord... https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XkmGrX7O0lQ

Maybe its just me but it seemed like every time the Knicks and Magic played back then it was on a Sunday and would go to several overtimes.

hmm... i still got a box full of all Shaq draft year rookie cards... just looked up some values online & some of them are up to $50 bucks each... but thing about collectibles is they're not worth anything unless someone else wants to pay that price.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Exactly, I have some Barry Bonds rookie cards that sold for several thousand dollars around the time he was chasing the HR record. It was a hot item at the time. I recently looked up the value of the cards and they aren't anywhere near that value anymore.

You can say that again. I used to collect cards when I was a kid and put them away, out of mind out of sight. I was going through my old stuff when I moved about 5 years ago and came across my cards. I wasn't even thinking about the cards when Bonds was going for the record.

I had the best basketball collection ever, and I sold all the cards to my "best friend" for 15 bucks. Could've made a fortune now, but I was too young to know that they were any more than simple cards.

Shyt, this is getting me depressed right now.

Actually first year in the league, Ewing and Shaq were head to head in the stat department, after that first year, Shaq would dominate...
