I think I am becoming obsessed with Sean Williams and what I think he could bring to the Knicks. I also look at this sight like I do draftnet and draftexpress. There is a lot of talent in that league and if you are into the draft you can follow guys that you might have thought were going to make an impact in the NBA that aren't there yet. Check out Williams game log. He is totally beasting. I am also impressed with Nancy Lieberman as a coach.

i have a feeling if AR were playing in the D Leagues he would be putting up some eye popping stats himself... i doubt Sean Williams would get playing time here... doesn't seem like an MDA style player to me.

There don't seem to be many guys over 6'9" that are D'Antoni guys. I think someone is going to steal Williams. I do think there is enough leadership in the locker room to take on a guy that might be troubled or immature.

The problem with the D-League is that it's not the NBA league. We've seen tons of D-Leaguers drop it like it's hot in that league but become bums in the NBA league. Look, the game is a little different when you're playing in corn fields in Bismarck than in the big city lights of New York, wow!
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

u would think that was the case, but then why isn't AR getting playing time? i would bet he'd be putting up bigger stats than Sean Williams if he were playing in the D League right now... i think before we were to sign a guy like that we should see what we have in AR first, not that i have a problem w/Sean Williams i actually think he could help, but i don't see him bringing anything that AR couldn't also bring if given the opportunity.

I was thinking that just as well. I don't get why he isn't there. It will only raise his value imo. If a team sees him absolutely dominating down there, then we will get picks for him. Right now we are having problem getting anything better than a late first it seems.

here's my take: he goes down to the DLeague and dominates like he did during SL 2 years ago, putting up 40PPG, 10BLKS and 20RBS, but still has the same bad habits and gets even more trigger happy outside of what really needs to happen for the Knicks to be successful.

I think he needs to get his confidence back. I don't think he regresses if he goes there. Also, if he is capable of completely dominating at that high a level shouldn't he be able to get some run for the Knicks?

AR could get run on a lot of teams, but mostly only on teams that are losing. Do you want AR to play the right way or AR to get stats?

I want him to play when he's ready and can help the team.

I really want him to be successful as a Knick. Do you think anyone is working with him to play the right way as a Knick? I think the coach has moved on and that is why he is the last guy off the bench when he clears it.

Ewing Jr. is sure still playing well:http://www.nba.com/dleague/playerfile/patrick_ewing-jr/game_by_game_stats.html

Why don't wee put AR down there? Don't get it, his value can't get any lower, can it? If he plays well down there then it can only go up.
Would like to see Rautins down there also. I know it would be ideal to run the same system down there but I'm not even sure that it isn't.

Yeah thanks Martin, I checked and found the rule. Really too bad. I have heard of the NBA in the next CBA changing that rule, in particular for rehabbing injuries.
