I'm looking for a situational subsitution. When the opponent has a 7' 2" player on the boards, you try to match up. Everyone is getting a check, let them earn it.
Mike was probably thinking the same thing, you have a 7'2 guy on defense, exploit it on offense with Amare or Wilson in the front-court. I got home from work late and didn't catch 1st half but when I watched in the 3rd quarter, they did the smart thing and gave it to Amare to abuse Big Z until he got in foul trouble.
Were they trying to do that in the 1st quarter (asking because I didn't get to watch)? I was following play-by-play on NBA.com and it seemed like they were settling for jumpers.
