Now that the Suns have Gortat (who is signed long-term) why not try to trade for Lopez. Anthony Randolph, although his stock is low, may interest the Suns. I believe they were picked back to back in the same draft.

Robin always plays well against his brother. Also cheaper than Varejao, with possibly a higher skill set.

I think the Suns would trade him straight up for Randolph. They saw him in his Golden State days. They need a future power forward to go with their future Center in Gortat.

I think Robin Lopez is damaged goods. Bad back.

For the most part Lopez in on low contract $ and has a small history of bad back... my guess is that if they want to move him it would be because he has too much of a bad back.

They prob would move Frye, Warrick, Childress, all of those were pretty much silly contract extensions.

Anyway, PHO is like $7M over cap, so I would assume they would do something to move a contract and get under cap.

Dragic has one year remaining and may go back to Europe. TD gives them a Barbosa type who plays great D and has a few years left on his rookie deal. Randolph gives them potentially the best player in the deal. Suns have Gortat on a long-term contract making Lopez expendable.

fair enough. I got a feeling Nash will be done after another year(or done in PHO), so PHO will def be in the market for a PG. I think they try to lock up Dragic, who is better than TD.

Dragic would be an awesome addition but martin's probably right, Phoenix will want to lock him up to a contract extension... he's the heir apparent at PG on that team.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

He's learning a lot from nash and i see it everytime i watch him play, especially in the playoffs last year. I don't think we will be making any deals with the suns for a long while..
